All about John

I live in the great state New Jersey (aka the Garden State). My family and I live down by the Jersey Shore. One thing about Jersey is we have the best of everything and that includes the best football team in the 2008 Super Bowl. The area I live in has good schools, nice people and there are lots of things to do during the summer time since we are so close to the beach. However, we have to pay for it with our high taxes. Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it.

Here are some pictures of the Jersey Shore.I'll keep adding as I find some.

I’m a Programmer and Project Manager. I started my consulting business in 1999 and incorporated my business 2001. Truthfully what inspired me to start my own business is making money for doing something I like. Since the dot com bust in the early 2000’s it’s easier to make more money as a consultant than working as an employee at this particular point in time. But you never know the job market always changes in America.

Why I built this site

One thing I really had to take on was building my business credit because I would need to make purchases to help keep my business going. At first it seemed overwhelming but I started out slow and took it one step at a time. Actually it started with getting my own business credit card. Now my business has good credit. The main thing is keep making your payments on time and don’t take on too much business debt where it impacts your family. I have learned that building a good credit history for my business is a necessary evil. Of course we would like to pay for everything in cash but it just doesn’t work out that way sometimes.

As I mentioned above, building business credit can be overwhelming. That’s why I built http://www.buildingmybusinesscredit.com  . Hopefully the information on the site will help businesses get started.
